It was the perfect day for a game of footy as our players slipped on their divisional colours and the crowd filed into Leederville oval with a snag in one hand and a drink in the other. After weeks of build-up, we were ready for the games to begin.

A bit of friendly competition helped fuel the atmosphere with two teams representing Corporate and EC and four teams represented by M&IS. The wait was over, as the pool games commenced with plenty of on and off field banter assisted by our MC (and very own Brian Taylor) Raff Fox. 

Following some round of pool games, a team made up of EC and Corporate played team M&IS, on a full-size footy field in the second biggest grand final to be played in WA this year. After some tight competition which had Zoran sweating (and not because it was a hot day) M&IS managed to take home the win with the final score 38 to 12.

Between all the footy antics, we also saw some of our people channel Usain Bolt in a dash for cash (with a kiddies version too), congratulations to those who were quick enough claim the footy first and take home the voucher. Some lucky attendees also went home with some raffle prizes - we hope you enjoy your Crown Towers or Nobu experience on us! 

Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to make the event so successful, if it wasn’t for your efforts an event like this wouldn’t be possible. 

It’s rare that our people from across all areas of our business get the opportunity to come together and it was great to see everyone make the most of it.
