Career development

Monadelphous headquarters are based in Perth. Both of these locations are modern facilities conveniently located close to public transport, major shopping areas and arterial roads.

The Perth office is based in Victoria Park and was built in 2010. The building has an on-site gym, rooftop garden, bike lockers and commuter shower facilities.

Employees in our Brisbane office are based in Milton with excellent access to the CBD. Bike commuters are easily connected via the Riverwalk bike network and the office has shower and locker facilities. The subsidised Jetts health club is based on the ground floor of the building and is accessible 24 hours a day.

We foster a positive workplace culture and environment that makes the company a great place to work and encourage social opportunities to build strong working relationships.

Mental health support and training
We have dedicated resources and campaigns to educate on mental health awareness, and teams of people to help upskill our frontline leadership team so they identify and support employees who may be experiencing mental health issues. This includes supporting initiatives such as R U OK? Day and Movember on an annual basis.

Employee Assistance Program
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, third-party counselling service available to employees and their immediate family members and is designed to assist in managing life and work challenges that may be affecting their wellbeing.

Engagement and giving back

Diversity and inclusion initiatives
We are committed to creating a workplace where people of all diverse backgrounds and cultures work together and contribute equally. Our employees are actively encouraged to contribute to and participate in initiatives outlined in both our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan and Gender Diversity & Inclusion Plan, including cultural awareness training and networking and mentoring activities.

Community support and volunteering opportunities
We are committed to making a positive contribution to the local communities where our people live and work. Our sustainability initiatives are often identified and driven by our employees and include opportunities for our people to volunteer and participate.

Employee events
Our people are invited to participate in yearly social events throughout the year dedicated to employees, including regular onsite barbeques, our Monos’ Footy Cup in Perth and our Monos’ Dragon Boat Cup in Brisbane, as well as Christmas parties and a host of other milestone events.

Financial

Market competitive pay
We seek to provide all our employees with access to market competitive pay and conditions.

Salary packaging superannuation
Our salary packaging options allow our people to allocate a portion of their salary directly to their nominated superannuation fund before income tax is calculated, called salary sacrificing.

Salary packaging a vehicle

Our people can take advantage of tax benefits with a novated lease and save by bundling car repayments and running costs into one simple regular payment. So, on pay day, they pay less income tax and have more money for the things that matter to them.

Lifestyle

We support flexible parental leave entitlements for eligible employees planning to grow their family. There are different entitlements available, depending on individual circumstances. Parental leave may contain a combination of unpaid, government paid or company paid time away from the workplace, in addition to safe job and return to work guarantees.
