Indigenous opportunities

At any given time, there are jobs available across Monadelphous' broad range of projects and locations.

We know we are stronger when we draw from diverse cultures, perspectives, experiences and skills. That’s why we’ve partnered with businesses and local communities to create pathways for employment, training and skills development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Importantly, however, we welcome anyone with the right skills and values. Everyone at Monadelphous has a unique story: This diversity drives our spark, and while we celebrate our differences, we share our values.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan

As well as our commitment to reconciliation in Australia, we know we are stronger when we draw from diverse cultures, perspectives, experiences and skills. That’s why we’ve partnered with businesses and local communities to create pathways for employment, training and skills development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Acknowledgment to Country

We pay our respects to and acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which our operations are located throughout Australia. We also recognise the important roles Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perform in our business. We acknowledge the strong relationship that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with land and sea and pay our respects to Elders both past and present.

The Monadelphous Way

From humble beginnings, the success of Monadelphous has been built on strong relationships and our ability to deliver what we promise. To do that we need to attract, develop and retain the right people. People who are highly competent, live our values and are keen to contribute to our long-term success.

The Monadelphous difference is that we deliver what we promise. This holds true for our people too, which is why our customers and employees keep coming back to us.
Our culture is one of the key factors in our success to-date, which is why we focus on cultural fit as well as competencies when we recruit people to join our business.

Our Values

Our values govern the way we think and act, so please review our values and check that they align with your personal values. Safety is especially important to us. We want to make sure that everyone goes home to their friends and family safely, so all our actions and decisions are underpinned by the saying ‘The Safe Way is the Only Way.’

We’re proud of our commitment through our 2017 – 2020 Reconciliation Action Plan to increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our business. We look forward to delivering on this promise.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships
