Indigenous opportunities

At any given time, there are jobs available across Monadelphous' broad range of projects and locations.

We know we are stronger when we draw from diverse cultures, perspectives, experiences and skills. That’s why we’ve partnered with businesses and local communities to create pathways for employment, training and skills development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Importantly, however, we welcome anyone with the right skills and values. Everyone at Monadelphous has a unique story: This diversity drives our spark, and while we celebrate our differences, we share our values.

Acknowledgment to Country

Across our operations we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands where we work and pay our respects to Elders past, present
and emerging.
We acknowledge the strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sustaining the world’s oldest living culture. We recognise
the relationship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples maintain with the land, sea and sky. We value the important roles and responsibilities upheld by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our business, and within our community.

Indigenous Pathways Program

The Indigenous Pathways Program is a partnership between Monadelphous and Rio Tinto to support Western Australian Indigenous people into long term, sustainable employment.
The purpose of the Program is to identify, attract, employ, train and support selected Indigenous candidates into traineeships, apprenticeships and tertiary study, aiming to increase the amount of skilled and qualified Indigenous people in the workforce in Western Australia.
A dedicated team mentors and supports selected participants on pathways that will lead to meaningful, sustainable employment.

Our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan 2022-2025

As well as our commitment to reconciliation in Australia, we know we are stronger when we draw from diverse cultures, perspectives, experiences and skills. That’s why we’ve partnered with businesses and local communities to create pathways for employment, training and skills development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
