As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, Niv’s days start early and are filled with variety, teamwork, and hands-on learning. From servicing plant and equipment to aligning gearboxes and learning to weld, no two days are ever the same.
A day typically involve completing JHAs, checking work areas, and tackling a range of tasks that keep the plant running, from firewater line installation and flange management to hi-torque bolt-ups and signage installation.
Outside of work, Niv keeps active and connected. After a long day on site, she’ll hit the gym, catch the NRL with her crew at camp, and call home to check in with her partner and son before lights out.
“Every day brings something different, and I love that I get to keep learning while building a solid foundation for my career.”
