Join the team as FIFO or as local crew in the Hunter Region. We also have jobs available within our shutdown crew who work on a variety of maintenance contracts and projects - with solid rosters. You can join the crew as FIFO or in a local role.

Working on draglines and shovels, our team conducts planned and unplanned maintenance work, which includes repairs and component replacements. Our trades work together to perform the following:

  • structural repairs and upgrades to machine components;
  • overhaul assembly of large gear boxes, sheaves and drums, including bearing fitment, bolt torquing, freeze fitting of bushes and other heavy mechanical components;
  • disconnects and reconnects for flawless start-up, including commissioning support, instrumentation upgrades, MCC and high voltage equipment; and
  • technically challenging lifts and component movements, combining crane and chainblock work, as well as hydraulic jacking operations.

Our crane operators work between heavy lift pin jib lattice boom cranes and mobile franna cranes, as well as supporting the operating telehandlers and EWP’s.
