I’ve been in the mining industry 6 years now and I’ve been working with Mono’s just over 2 years as a TA.
I have had an interest in mechanical fitting for a long time, so when the opportunity arose to complete my apprenticeship with Monadelphous, I was most excited about getting my hands dirty and learning how to put everything back together.
I’ve always loved helping my brother pull cars and bikes apart and learning all the different parts, which is what has inspired me to pursue this career path.
Mining isn’t for everyone, it’s not as easy as everyone thinks, but it most certainly is rewarding. Mono’s have been very supportive of me and any decision I make, always pushing me to achieve my goals and do my best.
I’ve been part of the Mono’s family for a while now, and the Mono’s culture is very rewarding and so much fun. I’d describe working at Mono’s as adventurous, fun and friendly, and it’s what makes me continue to do my best and achieve my goals.
