Growing up I wanted to study medicine, but as I got to know more about engineering and the career prospects, I made what I think was a wise decision to study engineering.
When I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I was attracted to the Monadelphous Graduate Program because of its structure. It offers a well-rounded education where you are involved in a wide range of problem-solving activities, and design and technical work.
I thrive in an environment where there’s lots of hands-on experience on different sites. I really like being on site and engaging with customers and front-line trades staff as part of the engineering team. I don’t really like to be confined to an office and would rather be out on the job.
I enjoy my work at Monadelphous, and as a female engineer I try to engage with, motivate, and promote engineering as a study and career choice.
